Safety tips for food processors
Our food processors are designed to simplify food preparation. However, as with all electrical appliances with moving parts there are some safety precautions you should take.
Avoid putting your hands or utensils near the blades.
Before you touch the blades with your hands, or any other utensils, always turn off the power at the mains. When the machine is not in use, only add ingredients to the bowl through the feed tube.
Never leave children alone near any sharp parts or machines that are plugged in. However, Philips Food Processor have features like children safety lock.
- When the processor is turned on, keep it away from liquids.
- When pouring liquids into or out of your food processor, ensure that the socket and power cord are dry.
- After use, dry completely.
After you have finished using the processor, turn it off. Before removing the bowl from your power unit, carefully remove any cutting discs or blades. Use warm soapy water to wash most attachments.
However, make sure you check the individual product instructions. Use a damp cloth to clean the appliance from food residue. Dry it completely. When not in use, turn off the appliance at the mains.
